3rd Tyrolean Winemakers Festival in Seefeld: "Tyrol meets Styria"

Two days full of wine enjoyment, four bands of all musical styles, and countless fine wines come together to create the Tyrolean Winemaker's Festival in Seefeld. On July 10 and 11, this time Styrian flavor notes will also mix into the ensemble of the finest Tyrolean wines.

Did you know? Wine has been cultivated in Tyrol for over 1,000 years! That's quite a long time to develop knowledge and, above all, taste. The Tyrolean Winemaker's Festival has existed for a somewhat shorter time. As has been shown in the first two editions: Tyrol can make wine. And above all: Tyrol loves wine! Especially when it can unfold its bouquet accompanied by sunshine and fine melodies. In 2026, the Kurpark Seefeld and around a dozen local winemakers invite you to taste the newest Alpine drops.

Because it's known that drinking together is better, the Tyroleans have once again teamed up this time with support from Styria. The three guest winemakers, who will travel to the high plateau for their performance, prove that the green heart of Austria actually has a red core.

To give this fine combination a fitting framework, the Tyrolean Wine Festival will again be accompanied by culinary and musical highlights this year. Local restaurateurs provide the appropriate specialties to complement the fine drops, while the music invites people to dance. What begins on Friday at 3:00 PM with exquisite folk music from the Oberleinern concludes with the musical all-rounders from Plankton. On Saturdays, the first glasses will already be filled by noon and by 3:00 PM, the ears will also be treated. "The Acoustic Band" combines classics and modern sounds before the grand wine awards ceremony begins at 6:00 PM with VM1 moderator Ingo Rotter. To provide a fitting conclusion to the Tyrolean Wine Festival, "Moreland" will deliver a thrilling finale with soul and funk in the Kurpark.

The Tyrolean Winegrowers Association, with its approximately 85 wineries, manages a total of around 25 hectares of vineyard area, where the grapes benefit from clear mountain air, sunshine, and alpine elevations. At altitudes of up to 800 meters above sea level, the vines thrive, making Tyrol one of the highest wine-growing regions in the Alps. Among others, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc, Zweigelt, and Pinot Noir are popular varieties. Tyrolean wine especially impresses with its freshness, finesse, and regional character.
