A walk into the world of wild and honey bees.
In the alps, bees can fly up to an altitude of 2,000 metres. On Thursdays, a representative from the local beekeeper’s association leads a walk along the Bee Trail in Reith to introduce you to the fascinating world of honey bees. There are over 400 native species of bees and they are essential for the variety and biodiversity in the region. During the course of the afternoon, you will learn in a clear, yet light-hearted, way about the complex relationship between bees, people and the environment.
