Route: Information office Seefeld - St. Oswald church - Geigenbühel - Triendlsäge - Geigenbühel - information office
This winter hiking tour leads from the historic Seefeld town center over the Geigenbühel and a small forest loop to the Landgasthof Triendlsäge and back again.
The tour starts directly from the Seefeld Information Office at the ICE train station and continues straight ahead through the historic pedestrian zone to the village square at the church of St.Oswald. Continue straight ahead, leaving the Klosterbräu on your left and then turn right onto Hohe Munde Straße. Continue straight on, crossing Olympiastraße and finally turn right at the next crossroads onto Wettersteinstraße.
At the next opportunity turn left over the wooded Geigenbühel and continue to the Landgasthof Triendlsäge. Take a delicious break with seasonal delicacies and homemade specialties (freshly caught trout from our own farm) and let yourself be spoiled according to all rules of Tyrolean cuisine. Well refreshed and happy, you can walk across the parking lot right across from the old sawmill and back into the forest. After a short walk, turn right towards Seefeld. Follow the Panoramaweg and the Geigenbühelstraße in a slight incline until you reach the main road and finally turn left at the traffic circle towards the train station and the Seefeld Information Office, or go straight on to go shopping in the pedestrian zone.
