fresh shine
Seefeld Lichterpark (light installations)
From the 1st November 2025, to the 6th January 2026, the Kurpark, Village Square, Seekirchl, and Olympiabad in Seefeld will shine daily from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., illuminated by enchanting light installations.
As the Christmas market from 21.11.2025 to 06.01.2026 in the historic town centre is also just "around the corner", it makes for particularly beautiful walks through snow-covered Seefeld. And because the delicacies, shops and stalls up here are so inviting to taste, the use of the buses and regional train is highly recommended.
Careful handling of light emissions, a long service life for the LED lighting fixtures used and low energy consumption were given priority in the implementation of the project.

Experience the Magic of Early Winter on Tirols Hochplateau
From ice skating and peaceful walks through the beautifully lit village center to the magical Lichterpark (light installations) and romantic horse-drawn carriage rides – starting mid-November, a diverse and festive experience awaits you in a unique atmosphere.

Four in a Row and Magical Animal Figures
Kurpark

Four in a Row
A playground for young and old: awaken your inner child, develop strategies, laugh, and play Four in a Row outdoors – digital and interactive.
The winner is the first to line up four light points of their color, which you “throw” precisely with your feet.

Swings, Seefeld Lettering and Icicles
Village Square
A special highlight are the two swings on the village square, inviting visitors to playfully enjoy the winter scenery while blending harmoniously into the surroundings. Complemented by the atmospheric Seefeld lettering and sparkling icicles, the village square transforms into a magical setting.

Ice Pearls, Fir Tree, Moon and Fluxit
Olympiabad

Ice Pearls
Where today’s Wildsee lies, there once stood a small wooden house where a young widow lived. Her tears froze into tiny ice pearls and fell to the ground. When she lost all hope, an angel appeared and granted her deepest wish. From the ground, her tears began to flow, flooding the valley plain – and thus the Wildsee was formed.
The Ice Pearl installation in the Light Park is a reminder never to give up hope for one’s own deepest wish.

Fir Tree
With its clean lines, the Fir Tree brings a festive atmosphere without being intrusive. Modern yet timeless, it blends harmoniously into Seefeld’s winter landscape, creating a calm and welcoming mood. A subtle light motif that captures the essence of the Christmas season.

Moon
An eternal moon – sometimes empty, sometimes full, distant yet within reach, it brightens the night and tells endless stories.
For the first time, the Moon is brought to Seefeld by NOMINAL: like a touch of magic, it floats through the village, illuminating the darkness and revealing hidden secrets.
Artist: Nominal
Nominal is a project by schau. Its members are Anne Sommer, Jen Ries, Manuel Sieber, Jeremy Marugan, Elia Mannhart, and Constantin Popp.

Fluxit
Fluxit is chaos that transforms into order when night falls and people recognize it as fire. People prefer to see something they can understand rather than chaos. That is why the decision to see the fire within it comes surprisingly easy to most.

Cross-Country Skier, Biathlete, Skater and Advent Wreath
Seekirchl
At Seefeld’s landmark, the Seekirchl, an illuminated cross-country skier, biathlete, and skater showcase the sporting flair of this renowned Nordic region in an impressive way. From the first Advent weekend onwards, a festive Advent wreath also adorns the Seekirchl, adding a special seasonal atmosphere to Christmas time.
