The Seebenalm is situated at the end of the idyllic Gaistal valley at an altitude of 1,575 metres, just a twenty-minute walk from Lake Seebensee. With views of the iconic Zugspitze, host Florian serves all manner of Tyrolean delicacies and a wide range of freshly tapped refreshments at this family-friendly alpine hut during the summer months. From the Seebenalm, there are numerous hiking trails leading into the surrounding countryside. For example, after a delicious stop for refreshments on the sun terrace, you can continue hiking to Lake Seebensee and admire the reflection of the imposing Alpine scenery there.

STARTING POINT
The ascent to the Seebenalm starts at the Salzbach car park in the Leutasch Gaistal valley and is also easily accessible by regional public transport (Leutasch/Salzbach bus stop). On wide gravel roads you hike through the alpine paradise Gaistal to the Seebenalm. The ascent is feasible both as a hike and as a bike tour. Alternatively, the ascent can be shortened to a hike of around one and a half to two hours by taking the Ehrwalder Almbahn gondola lift.
