an atmosphere that makes you shine!
Seefelder Lichterzauber

The Light Magic is closed for the winter season 2025/2026.
From November 1, 2026, the Seefelder Light Magic will immerse the entire village in a sea of light. From the Kurpark to the village square and the Seekirchl and Olympiabad, international artists have created impressive light installations. These can be admired daily from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM and invite a cozy stroll. A centerpiece of the Seefelder Light Magic is the 100,000 lights path over the parish hill.
The Light Magic is particularly enjoyable from November 20, 2026, to January 6, 2027, when the Christmas market in the historic village center also invites to visit. After this magical time, some installations and culinary delights must be awaited until the next season, but the entire place sparkles and shines until the end of winter with playful light creations.
Of course, careful handling of light emissions, a long lifespan of the LED light bodies used, and low energy consumption have been given priority in the implementation of the Seefelder Light Magic.
Important Notes:
- Opening Hours: The light magic is closed. The light installations can be seen again from 1.11.2026 daily from 16:00 to 22:00.
- Getting there: The Seefeld train station can be easily reached by public transport, as it is located right in the pedestrian zone. Lines 434, 433, 430, and 432 as well as regional and suburban trains go directly there. So leave the car behind and enjoy mulled wine without worries.
- Important: The Guest Card PlateauCard and a valid cross-country ski ticket in winter (with different regulations – more info here) is valid as a ticket in the region!
- Public toilets available

January 29 - March 1 AT THE VILLAGE SQUARE
Sky of Lights
From January 29 to March 1, a new attraction at the village square creates a special atmosphere in the evenings. Daily from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, the “Sound to Light” shows take place – every 20 minutes, on the hour and at 20 and 40 minutes past. Those who miss the Christmas market can find a charming alternative here amidst the darkness, sparkling light displays, and the 100,000-light path.

Unicorn
This mythical creature is closely connected to the history of Seefeld. It not only adorns the municipal coat of arms, but also plays a role in the legendary Hostienwunder at St. Oswald's Parish Church. As a luminous installation during the Seefeld Lichterzauber, the unicorn reminds us of this special connection between history and magic.

Fir Tree
With its simple lines, the Fir Tree brings a festive atmosphere without being intrusive. Modern and timeless at the same time, it harmoniously blends into the winter landscape of Seefeld and creates a calm, inviting mood. A subtle light motif that captures the essence of the Christmas season.
