The Region Seefeld has much to offer beyond its borders: A day trip to the state capital Innsbruck, the Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens, or the Violin Making Museum in Mittenwald are just a few examples. Traveling on the Karwendel Railway from Scharnitz/Gießenbach, Seefeld, and Reith also gives you the chance to enjoy one of the most spectacular train routes in Austria – with a total of 19 kilometers, 16 tunnels, 18 bridges and viaducts, and an elevation gain of nearly 600 meters between the Inn Valley and Seefeld.
