The Seefeld region has a lot to offer even beyond its borders: For example, a day trip to the state capital Innsbruck, to the Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens, or to the Violin Making Museum in Mittenwald. By taking the Karwendelbahn from Scharnitz/Gießenbach, Seefeld, and Reith, you also get to enjoy one of the most spectacular railway routes in all of Austria – with a total of 19 kilometers, 16 tunnels, 18 bridges and viaducts, and about 600 meters of altitude between the Inn valley and Seefeld.
