The winter in the Seefeld region truly has something enchanting about it. In its five small towns, great importance is placed on enjoyment, and one will be truly pampered everywhere: a cozy winter picnic with regional products, atmospherically lit Advent markets with Tyrolean delights, a seasonally influenced gourmet menu, or a steaming Kaiserschmarrn in front of a crackling fireplace in one of the cozy mountain huts – there are no culinary wishes left unfulfilled. Tyrol's high plateau is situated between mountain and valley, at 1,200 meters, in one of the most beautiful spots in the Alps, and yet it is quickly accessible. And this is possible without having to fit snow chains or scrape ice off the windshield. Three train stations - the largest located in the center of Seefeld - and four bus lines make arriving by train a breeze and ensure unrestricted mobility on site. The guest card PlateauCard serves as a ticket throughout the region and perfectly complements the public transport offerings. Not least for this reason, the region bears the Austrian Environmental Seal for destinations - a visible recognition of responsible interaction with nature and living space.
