The starting point of the snowshoe hike is the Nature Park Information Center in Scharnitz. First, head toward the Isar Promenade in the direction of the Maria Hilf Parish Church. Turn right at the main road, cross the Isar bridge, and take a right again just before Café Reitherbrot onto Inrainstraße. After passing under the railway, keep left and follow the Plattsteig trail to the Birzlkapelle (chapel).

At the next junction, turn right and cross the forest road to head back to Scharnitz. The return route follows Inrainstraße, where you can enjoy the beauty of the winter landscape.
