Snowshoe hiking
The snowshoe hike starts at the village square in Seefeld and first leads leisurely to the idyllic Wildsee. At the transformer station by the lake, the actual ascent begins: follow Trail No. 86 through the snowy winter forest up to Gschwandtkopf.
At the top, a breathtaking panoramic view awaits you. The Sonnenalm invites you to take a well-deserved break and warm up – perfect for soaking in the winter ambiance.
The descent follows the Gschwandtkopfmähder (No. 86) down to Auland through a quiet, snow-covered winter scenery. Along the way, you pass the Enzianhütte, which is currently not in operation. The trail continues to the “Auland Sagweg” bus stop, from where a convenient return by bus to the starting point in Seefeld is possible.
