Train stations in the Seefeld region

Get in, arrive, switch off. The Seefeld region is quickly and comfortably accessible via the Karwendelbahn. Along one of the most scenic train routes in Austria, there are three train stations (Reith, Scharnitz, Seefeld) as well as two request stops (Leithen, Gießenbach). The connection runs from the Bavarian Mittenwald and Garmisch-Partenkirchen over the high plateau directly to Innsbruck – convenient and traffic-free.

Mobile without a car

With a valid guest card, you can use the train between Seefeld and Scharnitz, as well as the entire bus network of the region, completely free of charge!

Accessibility Notice

The Seefeld in Tirol train station is barrier-free equipped, with a lift, level platforms and a tactile guidance system. From there, there are good barrier-free bus and taxi connections to the surrounding towns such as Leutasch, Mösern, Reith, and Scharnitz. The request bus stops Gießenbach and Leithen are also barrier-free accessible. The stations in Scharnitz and Reith, on the other hand, are only partially barrier-free.
