The Katzenkopfhütte toboggan run (formerly Kreith Alm/Hochmoos Alm) is about two and a half kilometres long and has a gradient of about 12% from Seewald to the Katzenkopf, overcoming a difference in altitude of 250 metres.
From the Kreithlift valley station, the difference in altitude up to the Katzenkopfhütte at the summit can be overcome particularly comfortably by cable car. Alternatively, you can take the family-friendly toboggan run up from the car park in about 40 minutes.
For delicious refreshments, sparkling refreshments and steaming hot drinks, the Katzenkopfhütte at the summit welcomes skiing, tobogganing and hiking guests on its spacious sun terrace. At the Katzenkopf valley station you can also rent a toboggan if necessary and simply return it after the descent - or go for another lap on the toboggan!
As the medium-difficulty downhill run crosses the ski slope several times along the way, increased caution is required up and down.
Every Tuesday, the toboggan run and ski slope are also illuminated at night - always from 19:00 to 21:30.
