If you’re looking for peace and quiet while tobogganing, the moderately difficult Kreidegraben natural tobogganing track in Scharnitz is the perfect choice.

From the P2 Naturpark Infozentrum parking lot,  you’ll reach the start and end point of the toboggan run after about 15 minutes. From there, it’s another 45 minutes uphill along the route. The toboggan run is approximately one kilometre long, of medium difficulty, and you’ll rarely meet other sledders on the way up.

After the climb, we recommend taking a short break to enjoy the tranquility. As there are no refreshment stops along the toboggan track, we suggest packing a small snack or warming up afterward at one of the restaurants in Scharnitz (see the list of restaurants).
