Katzenkopf Leutasch ski area
The varied downhill runs over approx. five kilometres of perfectly groomed slopes start directly from the chairlift mountain station at the Katzenkopfhütte. With breathtaking views over the Leutasch Valley and the North Tyrolean Limestone Alps, you can enjoy many hours of sunshine during the day, even in winter, and indulge in Kaiserschmarrn, dumpling specialities and homemade cakes, or warm yourself in the cosy traditional parlour by the crackling open fire and a cup of Alpine herbal tea (with a shot if desired).
In winter, however, you can also experience the versatile Katzenkopf off the slopes, as there is also a varied natural toboggan run here – the necessary equipment can be hired at the valley station if required. At the Katzenkopf hut there is also the classic cross-country ski trail entrance for the Katzenkoofloipe (C4) and the 22km Katzenkopf circuit. Those who prefer hiking will also find beautiful winter hiking trails to Wildmoos, Seefeld and Mösern at the summit.

Important Notes & Dates
- Night Tobogganing: Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, there is night tobogganing on the Katzenkopf. The lift runs from 18:00 to 20:00, and the toboggan run is illuminated. The Katzenkopfhütte is also open until 22:00 on these evenings.
- Rental: The Katzenkopf also offers ski and snowboard rental directly down at the valley station.
- Public transport: We recommend travelling by public transport to the bus stop "Leutasch Weidach Kreithkapelle" (guest card = public transport ticket).
- Altitude: The Katzenkopf Leutasch extends between 1,100 and 1,360 metres above sea level.
- Valid passes in winter: The Freizeitticket Tirol (FZT) is valid. The Snowcard Tirol is also valid. For all cross-country skiers with cross-country skiing equipment and a valid trail ticket, one ascent and descent is included daily. With the guest card, you will receive a one-time 50% discount on the lift ticket during night sledding (also applies to hourly tickets).
- Summer operation: In summer, the Katzenkopf in Leutasch is a real summer paradise with a wide range of leisure activities.

Line 430 operates daily and line 433 is a seasonal line. The PlateauCard guest card and, in winter, a valid cross-country ski trail ticket are valid as a ticket on this line. Otherwise, the VVT fare regulations apply for this route. (More information here).
