The Olympiaregion Seefeld with its five villages Seefeld, Leutasch, Mösern, Reith and Scharnitz attracts hikers from all over the world. The special location on a high plateau situated at over 1,200 m and the approximately 650 kilometers of hiking and mountain trails transform the region into a true hiking Mecca. Surrounded by the impressive Wetterstein mountains, the Karwendel Alpine Park and the Wildmoos landscape conservation area, the high plateau, which is open to the south, is the perfect base camp for hiking enthusiasts and nature lovers.
In the midst of the idyll, a worldwide tradition and a jointly organized hiking highlight is reflected: the 21st 3-day Unicorn March. With start and finish in Leutasch, the march leads along the most beautiful Platzl'n of the region. Unique landscape experiences, cozy refreshment stops and warm hosts make this worldwide phenomenon an unforgettable highlight, where fun and team spirit are paramount.
In 2021, the IVV Cup will also take place. The IVV / IML Cup classification shows the cooperation of the sports associations Internationaler Volkssportverband e.V. (IVV) and International Marching League (IML). The special scoring booklet can be bought at the organizers and at the offices of both federations.
