The Men Behind the Banger Park: Alex Pankiewicz and Alexander Gaugg
The creation of the Banger Park in Scharnitz is actually a great stroke of luck: Two men, Polish Alex Pankiewicz and Scharnitz resident Alexander Gaugg, met by pure chance but immediately bonded over their shared passion for snowboarding. What began as mutual sympathy has turned into a success story over the past six years, driven by courage and enthusiasm.

The Banger Park near me means a lot to me, as anyone who wants to compete in contests nowadays has to train on airbag setups to keep up.

The Banger Park has changed a lot. Especially among the ladies, there's been a huge leap in tricks over the past years. This is definitely due to the training with the airbags.

I wanted to develop a safe training method for freestyle sports, just like I knew from gymnastics. Today I get goosebumps when I see that it has worked out.

We did everything ourselves and needed each other. Our long-term goal is to prepare everything cleanly and neatly, indeed perfectly.
