During the construction of the bypass road in 1963, the chapel between Auland and Reith had to be removed. It bore the year 1708. A wayside shrine, consecrated in the memorial year 1984, is intended to commemorate this. The chapel located at the junction to Maxhütte, which was already demolished during the railway construction, is also forgotten.
