The beautiful Rauthhütte toboggan run overcomes a difference in altitude of 420 metres on a challenging route of about three kilometres. The ascent is easy to reach from the Rauthhütte car park in the Moos district, is well signposted and leads over some quite challenging passages to the starting point. Be careful of oncoming tobogganists/hikers, especially on the serpentines. After about an hour's walk you reach the cosy Rauthhütte (1605 m).

Here you can warm yourself in one of the two traditional stove parlours by the crackling fireplace and let your hosts spoil you with genuine Tyrolean home cooking and regional delicacies. Dogs are also welcome! From above, on a clear day, you can look far across the Inn Valley, see the Zugspitze shining in the north and the Zillertal Alps far to the south.

Attention: Even for experienced tobogganists, this toboggan run is a challenge - good (brake) shoes and safe handling of the toboggan are absolutely required! The Hämmermoosalm toboggan run is recommended for children, beginners and family outings.
