The 21st Winter Deaflympics 2027 in Innsbruck and Seefeld

The Winter Deaflympics 2027 celebrate a special comeback: For the first time in nearly 80 years, the world's most significant winter sports event for deaf athletes returns to its historical roots. In January 2027, Innsbruck and Seefeld will become the stage for athletic excellence, lived inclusion, and international encounters.
An event with tradition and future
The Deaflympics are among the oldest international multisport events in the world. The first Summer Games took place in 1924, while the winter edition was launched in 1949 in Seefeld. The fact that the games will be held again in Tyrol in 2027 emphasizes the long tradition of the region as a host of significant winter sports events.
