Regionality

For regional value creation and strong communities

Regionality is about more than short transport routes. It stands for responsibility, quality and a strong commitment to our community. Through fair partnerships and conscious consumption, we support long-term regional value creation and strengthen the local economy. With a range of projects, we specifically support local producers and businesses, give greater visibility to their work and bring their products into the spotlight. In doing so, we create connections between producers and consumers, build trust and make the value of regional products tangible. The result is a strong community and an authentic guest experience that brings the uniqueness of our region, its traditions and its stories to life.

Our guiding principle is: think sustainably and act responsibly.

Real Plateau Products

Since 2021, we've been championing our local producers with our "Genuine Plateau Product" line. Regional items such as herbal teas, liqueurs, juices, honey, soaps, and various decorative articles are available at our information offices, various regional markets, and selected hotels.

PLATEAU PRODUCT

The Plateau Potato
As part of the pilot project "Plateau Potato," various potato varieties were cultivated in collaboration with five dedicated local farmers. After the harvest, these potatoes were featured in various hotels and restaurants across the region. This initiative brought renewed attention to a traditional regional product while ensuring that value creation remained within the plateau.

The Plateau Breakfast

In collaboration with Agrarmarketing Tirol and Neurauter*Frisch, the "Plateau Breakfast" was established. The aim of this project is to source the central components of a hearty Alpine breakfast—such as bread, butter, milk, eggs, and at least one type of jam, cheese, and sausage specialties—directly and regionally. The breakfast offerings feature genuine Tyrolean quality products, preferably local produce directly from the plateau, allowing guests to enjoy the full diversity of the region right from the morning.
