Seefelder Tuesday Market

Strolling leisurely over the village square and purchasing local products mostly directly from the producers can be done weekly from June to September at the Seefeld Tuesday Market. The offerings range from regional delicacies, fresh fruits and vegetables to nature-inspired decorative items, unique jewelry and baby clothes to health-promoting hemp and honey products.

Most exhibitors have been present at the Tuesday Market for many years, such as Ferdinand Schot, who also took over the organization last spring: "The market is important for us local entrepreneurs and has been successfully built up over the years – that’s why I gladly take care of the organization." Schot has been selling his regional bee products at the small market for years and thus knows the other stall operators well.

The market customers, guests and locals, appreciate especially the regional offerings. "I am often asked if my products are homemade," says Monika Praxmarer, who has been working with wood since her childhood. It is noticeable that especially the guests like to take home something local from their vacation spot – and nowadays ideally something sustainable.
