Summit hike
This summit tour combines a lift ride with a hike: From the Rosshütte valley station, take the funicular followed by the Jochbahn cable car up to the Seefelder Joch. As the lifts cover most of the elevation gain, the tour requires relatively little stamina.
From the Jochbahn mountain station, the trail leads to the Seefelder Joch and its panoramic swing – a fantastic photo spot with unobstructed views of the surrounding peaks. From here, you can enjoy sweeping views across the Seefeld Plateau and the Karwendel mountains.
The route from the Seefelder Joch to the Seefelder Spitze follows an exposed ridge with some steeper sections and is technically rated as moderately difficult. Sure-footedness and a head for heights are essential! The return follows the same route.
The tour can be adapted to suit your preferences:
• Extend the tour to the Reither Spitze (2,373 m) and the Nördlinger Hütte – alpine experience
