Möslalm

Closed today
Meeting place for cyclists and hikers in the beautiful Gleirschtal in the Karwendel.

The rustic alpine pasture is located in the beautiful Gleirschtal valley in the Karwendel Nature Park. From mid-May to mid-October, it welcomes hikers, bikers and nature lovers with delicious Tyrolean dishes. The highlight - the homemade delicacies: alpine butter, Graukas and buttermilk are produced in small quantities.

OVERNIGHT STAY
Groups of up to 25 people are welcome to stay overnight in the camp, subject to prior reservation. More information and a reservation can be obtained by phone or e-mail.

STARTING POINT
The car can be left at the Karwendel car park, the Länd car park in Scharnitz, for which a fee is charged. This is also where you will find the Holzerhütte Museum, which invites you to visit. An environmentally conscious alternative is to travel by train. From the Scharnitz information centre at the Karwendel car park, three valleys lead into the nature park: the Gleirschtal, the Hinterautal and the Karwendeltal. After a while the road divides and you turn right into the Gleirschtal. On foot through the gorge (for experienced hikers), via the forest path or on a bike through the Gleirschtal - the way to Möslam is always a pleasure. Two hiking taxis also offer support.

SUMMER TOURS

  • Gleirschklamm. The entrance to the wildly romantic Gleirschklamm is just behind the Scharnitzer Alm. From there, a narrow path (only for sure-footed and experienced hikers) leads past turquoise-blue water, small rapids and waterfalls and over carefully constructed wooden footbridges. The gorge ends at the Isartal forest road, which you follow to the Möslalm.
    To the hike
  • Bike tour to the Möslalm. The leisurely tour with a short, steep incline leads along good forest paths through the quiet Gleirschtal valley. An e-bike charging station is available, but you have to bring your own adapter.
