This good-sized children’s paradise is in a quiet, pleasant location beside the turquoise-blue water of the little river, the Leutascher Ache. Children will enjoy clambering around the large pirate ship, crawling through the play-tunnel, mastering the two wooden climbing frames and the spider’s web climbing rope, and messing around in the sandpit under the sun-shade. Future would-be builders can practise with a shovel dredger on a sandy piece of ground, budding balance artistes can improve their technique on the wobbly bridge, and even parents can unwind a little and have a go in the swing basket.
The playground is surrounded by luscious meadows and grassland and is a great place, especially in autumn, to watch hang-gliders making the most of the breeze. Young and young-at-heart can have some fun together building dams, paddling and collecting stones from the stream. There are two comfortable deck-chairs and a seating area perfect for a family picnic.
