Special Trails in the Region Seefeld
Beyond the classic and skating trails, the Region Seefeld – Tirols Hochplateau offers unique special trails for unforgettable winter moments. Whether gliding under the sparkling night sky after work on the night trail, enjoying a ski session with your four-legged companion on the dog trail, or experiencing barrier-free cross-country skiing on the sled trails – every skier will find their perfect track here for a truly special experience.
Night Trail
On the A1 Night Trail, you can enjoy a few extra laps even after work. The consistent lighting ensures excellent visibility and a magical cross-country experience under the starry sky. The trail is open from Monday to Friday, 17.00 to 20.30.
Dog Trail
On the A3 Dog Trail in the Wildmoos area, dogs and their owners can explore the winter landscape together. The trail is accessible only via the Wildmoos bus – please note that muzzles are mandatory, and peak times should be avoided to prevent stressful situations for both humans and dogs. As the trail is used by many skiers, consideration and caution are essential. Due to the narrow tracks and the high speed of some skiers, there is an increased risk of accidents. Please stay at the edge of the trail to allow faster skiers to overtake safely.
Important information:
- Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times
- Use only the designated dog trail
- Always clean up after your dog
- Show respect for other skiers: your dog should respond well to commands, be used to quick movements, and remain close to the edge of the trail
Further information about cross-country skiing with dogs can be found in the FAQ section at www.tyrol.com/activities/sport/cross-country-skiing/with-dogs
Sled Trails
The sled trails in the Region Seefeld offer ideal conditions for sit-skiers and wheelchair athletes, providing a barrier-free cross-country skiing experience. Wide tracks, gentle gradients, and easy access to the trails ensure a safe and enjoyable winter sports experience on Tirols Hochplateau.
