Discover Katzenkopf Leutasch in all its summer splendor - a real paradise for hiking and biking enthusiasts and families. Here, in the breathtaking Tyrolean mountains, you can fully savor the variety of leisure activities. Hike along picturesque trails or explore the dynamic bike trails of the Katzenkopf Bike Park. The mountain railway with its 3-seater chairlift and conveyor belt is available to both hikers and bikers, making it easier to reach the heights. Those who prefer to master the ascent under their own steam can tackle the trails on foot or by bike. Once at the top, the cozy Katzenkopfhütte invites you to linger. In addition to the bike park, there are other facilities such as a playground for young adventurers and an exciting disc golf course with various holes.
Starting at the end of May 2025, the new summer toboggan run "Wildcat" will open at Katzenkopf Leutasch. Over a length of 1,200 meters, you'll race through waves, curves, and steep sections – all with stunning views of the Tyrolean mountains. The "Wildcat" offers adrenaline, action, and fun for the whole family.

In winter, Katzenkopf Leutasch transforms into a family-friendly ski area with varied slopes and an exciting toboggan run for both kids and adults.
Important Information & Dates
- Season start: 24th of May 2025 on weekends (Sat, Sun and public holidays)
- Summer Toboggan Run: Starting at the end of May 2025, the new "Wildcat" summer toboggan run will open at Katzenkopf Leutasch. Guests staying in the Region Seefeld receive a one-time 50% discount per stay on a ride with the toboggan run (including the chairlift ride) with the PlateauCard.
- Operating Times in Summer: The 3-seater chairlift for hikers and cyclists, as well as the conveyor belt (especially for cyclists who want to use the pump track), are available during the summer season.
- Traveling by Public Transport: We recommend traveling by public transport to the bus stop "Leutasch Weidach Kreithkapelle" (guest card = public transport ticket).
- Altitude: The Katzenkopf Leutasch extends between 1,100 and 1,360 meters above sea level.
- Valid Passes in Summer: The Freizeitticket Tirol (FZT) is valid and includes a surcharge for the bike park. With the guest card of the Seefeld region, you’ll receive a one-time 50% discount per stay – either on a round-trip ride on the Katzenkopf lift (without sports equipment) or an uphill ride followed by a descent on the brand-new summer toboggan run. Just decide at the ticket counter! The discount can be used daily, but is only valid once per stay.
- Winter Operation: In winter, the Katzenkopf Leutasch is a family-friendly ski area.

Take the bus to the Katzenkopf Leutasch
Line 430 operates daily and line 433 is a seasonal line. The PlateauCard guest card and, in winter, a valid cross-country ski trail ticket are valid as a ticket on this line. Otherwise, the VVT fare regulations apply for this route. (More information here).
