Experience over 245 kilometres of dreamlike trails on Tirols Hochplateau

Cross-country skiing in Tyrol | Region Seefeld

Tyrol’s snow-sure high plateau is perfect for cross-country skiing: instead of narrow valleys, a wide-open plateau at 1,200 metres unfolds between Alpine peaks. Around 245 kilometres of trails for all skill levels connect the five villages of Seefeld, Leutasch, Mösern, Reith and Scharnitz in winter — from leisurely rounds through the Leutasch valley to professional high-performance sport in the Arena365. And thanks to the dedicated roller track, biathlon and XC training even continues in summer.

Our trails are groomed extra wide every day for both skating and classic — and when it’s time for a break, you can simply stop at the next hut or refreshment spot! Where you’re not stepping right onto the trail, you can use public transport across the region, because the trail ticket doubles as a bus ticket throughout the entire plateau. And if you’re looking for relaxation afterwards, you’ll find some of the best wellness facilities in the region all around.
