Gliding through winter together
Cross-country skiing with kids in Tyrol | Region Seefeld
Families will find perfect conditions for a relaxed introduction to cross-country skiing on Tirols Hochplateau. The easy blue trails (A) offer wide tracks, clear sections and gentle climbs – ideal for children and anyone who prefers a slower pace. Many of these loops also work perfectly with a child trailer.
In total, more than 245 kilometres of trails await you, including many that are especially family-friendly. And for those looking for a bit more action: teens aged 15 and over can try biathlon with laser rifles in Leutasch – or even test real ammunition in Seefeld.
Important information:
- Children up to and including 15 years use all cross-country trails free of charge. You can find all details about trail tickets and prices here.
- Opening hours: daily 09:00–16:30 | Night trail: Mon–Fri 17:00–20:30
- The trails presented here are generally suitable for children. Please check the elevation profile and route length of each tour in advance and realistically assess your own fitness level as well as your children’s.
- Please note that the trails are freshly groomed every day, but isolated icy or slippery sections may still occur.
