Gliding through winter together
Cross-country skiing with kids in Tyrol | Region Seefeld
Families will find perfect conditions for a relaxed introduction to cross-country skiing on Tirols Hochplateau. Dedicated practice areas are also available, allowing children and beginners to take their first steps safely and playfully. The easy blue trails (A) offer wide tracks, clear sections and gentle climbs – ideal for children and anyone who prefers a slower pace. Many of these loops also work perfectly with a child trailer.
In total, more than 245 kilometres of trails await you, including many that are especially family-friendly. And for those looking for a bit more action: In Leutasch, biathlon is offered with different types of shooting depending on age – laser shooting up to the age of 10, air rifles from age 10, and small-calibre rifles with live ammunition from age 15. In Seefeld, teens aged 15 and over can also try biathlon with live ammunition.
