If you prefer to conquer the ascent under your own power, you can tackle the paths on foot or by bike. Upon reaching the top, the cozy Katzenkopfhütte invites you to linger. Besides the bike park, more offerings await you such as a playground for little adventurers and an exciting disc golf course with various tracks.
The "Wildcat" summer toboggan run at Katzenkopf Leutasch offers a thrilling ride over 1,200 meters through waves, bends, and steep passages – accompanied by a breathtaking panorama of the Tyrolean mountains. Adrenaline, action, and good mood are guaranteed.

Katzenkopf Ski Resort Leutasch
In winter, Katzenkopf Leutasch presents itself as a family-friendly ski resort with varied slopes and an exciting toboggan run for young and old alike.
Important Notes & Data
- Opening Hours: Open every Saturday, Sunday and on holidays from May 9th to June 19th. From June 20th to September 13th, the lift operates daily from 09:30 AM to 05:00 PM.
- Summer Toboggan Run "Wildcat": Guests of the Seefeld region receive a one-time 50% discount on a ride on the summer toboggan run (including the ascent by chairlift) with the PlateauCard per stay. In case of rain, the ride is suspended for safety reasons.
- Summer Operating Hours: The 3-seater chairlift for hikers and cyclists as well as the conveyor belt (specifically for cyclists wishing to use the pump track) are available during summer. Attention: E-bikes are not transported.
- Public Transportation: We recommend using public transportation to the bus stop "Leutasch Weidach Kreithkapelle" (Guest Card = Ticket)
- Altitude: The Katzenkopf Leutasch extends between 1,100 and 1,360 meters above sea level
- Valid Passes in Summer: The Freizeitticket Tirol (FZT) is valid and includes a surcharge for the Bikepark. With the Guest Card of the Seefeld region, you receive a one-time 50% discount per stay – either for a mountain and valley ride at Katzenkopf (without sports equipment) or for a mountain ride followed by a descent on the new summer toboggan run. Decide spontaneously at the cash register! The discount can be redeemed daily, but is only valid once per stay.
- Winter Operations: In winter, Katzenkopf Leutasch is a family-friendly ski area.

In summer, you can expect the 3-person chairlift for hikers and bikers, as well as a special conveyor belt that makes access to the pump track easier for cyclists.
The following passes are valid in summer. The Freizeitticket Tirol (FZT) is valid and includes a surcharge for the bike park. With the guest card of the Seefeld region, you receive a 50% discount once per stay – either for a mountain and valley ride at Katzenkopf (without sports equipment) or for a ride up followed by a descent on the new summer toboggan run. Decide spontaneously at the cash desk! The discount can be redeemed daily, but is only valid once per stay.
Please note that a ticket deposit of 4 € is charged for each ticket.

Getting to Katzenkopf Leutasch by bus
The Line 430 operates daily, while the Line 433 is a seasonally operated line. The Guest Card PlateauCard and a valid trail ticket in winter are accepted as a ticket on this line. Otherwise, the fare regulations of VVT apply for this route. (More info here).
