Scharnitz – Gateway to Karwendel

Karwendel - Parking, Public Transport & Starting Points

Scharnitz is the central starting point for tours in the Karwendel Nature Park – ideally accessible by car and public transport. Right next to the large Parking Lot P2 "Karwendelparkplatz Länd" lies the Karwendel Nature Park Information Center – the starting point for many biking routes and hiking tours, as well as a point of contact for maps and current tour tips. Exciting insights into the use of wood, both past and present, can be found at the Holzerhütte Museum. For little explorers, a nature adventure playground invites play and exploration before or after a tour.

Public travel to Scharnitz
