Sights to see in winter

In Reith, you can truly enjoy winter – either right from the hotel door into the snow or by bus and train throughout the entire region. Along the Karwendelbahn, there is also a wide cleared forest winter hiking trail to Seefeld. From the Enzian Hütte, you can simply strap on snowshoes and explore the Gschwandtkopf and the Reitherjoch Alm. It becomes calm and atmospheric especially around Christmas, when the local clubs invite you to mulled wine, punch, and Kiachl, or the Krampus run of the Reither Bergtuifl showcases old traditions. In the evenings, everyone gathers by the crackling fireplace, listening to old village stories, and perhaps getting inspired for the next winter adventure.
