Tip

Adventure in the Schlossbach Gorge

The impressive Schlossbach Gorge, with its waterfalls and rock formations, offers a refreshing coolness, especially in summer. The 6.1 km long hiking trail starts at the Reith train station near Seefeld and leads along the old Roman road to the gorge and further to the Hochzirl train station. Surefootedness is required as the path can be narrow and slippery.

By Bike to the Isar Spring

Bike tour No. 578 takes you from Scharnitz through the picturesque Hinterautal to the source of the Isar. This easy tour spans 28 km with moderate climbs and an impressive natural backdrop. Start at the Nature Park Info Center in Scharnitz and follow a well-maintained route to the Isar spring area, where a picturesque rest area with informative panels awaits you.
