By train to Scharnitz train station (10 minutes walk to the starting point).

Demanding hike, absolute surefootedness, head for heights and alpine experience are necessary!

At the northern end of Scharnitz turn in the direction of P1. Shortly after the wooden bridge, a forest path leads straight ahead (follow the signs). At the end of the forest road you reach a path that leads up the flank of the Arnsattel into the hollow of the Hasellähne and continues in hairpin bends to the Unterstandhütte. From here you climb to the right on a narrow path through rugged terrain to the pre-peak with summit sign. To the main summit with the summit cross there are climbing sections of I+ to overcome (fixing rings available).
