Route: Village square - Klosterstraße - Seekirchl - Sportalm - WM-Arena - Seewald - Möserer Tal - Seewaldalm - Gschwandtkopfmahder - Reither Auland - Gstoagweg - Wildseepromenade - Innsbrucker Straße - Village square

Over a good ten kilometers, this leisurely circular hike makes a scenic loop around the Seefelder Gschwandtkopf and rewards you along the way through the Möserer Tal and the Reither Auland with impressive views of the Inntal and picturesque power spots.

From the starting point at the Seefeld village square (within walking distance from the train station, parking available for a fee in the surrounding area), the trail heads west along Klosterstraße through the historic pedestrian zone. Cross the traffic circle in the direction of Seekirchl, pass the Seefeld Olympic pool and follow the underpass to the Sportalm on the Gschwandtkopf - first stop for refreshments!

Then turn left past the Sportalm and the sports field, follow the path through the WM arena. After the sports field continue on serpentines into the Seewald. At the next clearing on the right hand side is the cozy Seewaldalm - but unfortunately only open in winter.

From the Seewaldalm follow the hiking trail back into the forest and at the next fork turn left and walk along a long panoramic stretch through the picturesque Gschwandtkopfmahder. On the way you can make a detour to the Sonnenalm at the Gschwandtkopf - second stop for refreshments!

On the Gschwandtkopfweg you finally reach the Auland and there take the first possibility left onto the Gstoagweg, now follow this until you can already see the Wildsee sparkling in the distance. At the fork in the road, take the forest path to the Wildsee promenade (Gschwandtweg). There you will often meet a few lively squirrels and can enjoy the forest atmosphere in quiet recreation areas.

At the main road then turn right and follow the Innsbrucker Straße into the pedestrian zone and further to the starting point at the village square. A final walk through the cozy village center rewards with nice shopping, delicious culinary and many other attractions.
