The Wildsee – also known as Lake Seefeld – presents itself in winter in its quiet, magical form. Surrounded by snow-covered shore paths and a picturesque winter landscape, it is nestled in the impressive mountain backdrop of the Seefeld region. Directly at the pedestrian zone and near the train station, it is an ideal starting point for cozy winter walks. On well cleared paths, one can enjoy the winter silence – perfect for unwinding, breathing deeply, and marveling.

100,000 Lights Path: View of Lake Wildsee
A particularly beautiful view of Lake Wildsee can be found at the nearby Pfarrhügel. Located between the picturesque lake and the pedestrian zone in the village center, this charming little landmark offers a breathtaking panorama of the surrounding mountain world. This view is especially atmospheric in winter – during a walk along the festively illuminated 100,000 Lights Path.

Arrival at Wildsee
The Wildsee is very conveniently and easily accessible. We recommend taking the public transport to the train station in Seefeld and then enjoying a relaxed 5-minute walk to the Wildsee, especially through the picturesque pedestrian zone. The guest card serves as a ticket for all public bus connections in the region during your stay. Additionally, the train ride between Seefeld and Scharnitz, as well as the Wildmoos bus, are included.
