The Rosshütte in Seefeld stands for sun-drenched slopes, perfectly groomed pistes and a panorama that elevates every ski day. Important Information & Facts:
- Rent: At the Rosshütte, you’ll find a ski rental and several ski schools with a variety of course options right at the valley station.
- Valid Passes in Winter: In winter, the Freizeitticket Tirol, the Tirol Snow Card and the Happy Ski Card are all valid.
- Public Transport: We recommend arriving by public transport using the ski buses of the Seefeld region, which take you directly to Bergbahnen Rosshütte (your guest card serves as your ticket).
- Accessibility Information: The chairlifts and drag lifts are barrier-free and allow skiing with aids such as the monoski. Please note, however, that the funicular and gondola are not suitable for use with monoski equipment or similar aids.
- Altitude: The Rosshütte area ranges from 1,234 to 2,064 metres above sea level.
- Summer Operation: In summer, the Rosshütte transforms into a warm-season playground with a wide variety of outdoor activities.
- Awards: In 2021, the ski area was named test winner by Skiresort.de in the category “Insider Tip: World’s Leading Ski Area up to 20 km of Slopes”.

The Bergbahnen Rosshütte ski area is easy and convenient to reach – whether you’re travelling by public transport or by car.
By Ski Bus
In winter, you can use the free ski buses of the Seefeld region (with guest card OR valid ski ticket OR ski equipment).
You can reach the ski area directly via the Rosshütte bus stop.
Your guest card serves as a ticket for all public bus connections in the region. It also includes train travel between Seefeld and Scharnitz as well as the Wildmoosbus. For all other routes, VVT fares apply (more information here).

Ski Buses
Comfortable, quick and free of charge: the Region Seefeld ski buses take you to all ski areas every day without any hassle – just hop on with your guest card, ski pass or ski equipment and you’re good to go.
