Route: Scharnitz - Gleirschhöhe – Valley Gleirschtal – Gleirscher Riegelkar – Hoher Gleirsch – Sagkopf – Scharnitz

Very long hike, which requires good physical fitness. To save time, it is recommended to take the bike up to Möslalm and then continue on foot to the Hoher Gleirsch.
The local mountain of Scharnitz offers you a wonderful view over all peaks and valleys of the western Karwendel. From the information centre in the direction of Isarlodge Wiesenhof. Follow the forest road to Gleirschhöhe, keep right and cross the Gleirschtal via the so-called Krapfen. Then turn left to the office saw (unmanaged) and to the Möslalm. Park your bike just before the Möslalm and follow a narrow path to the Hohe Gleirsch.
