Really excellent: Toque blessing for the restaurants of the Region Seefeld
The new gourmet guide "Gault & Millau 2026" is here and brings a real bonanza for our region. The best restaurants in Austria have been ennobled and 5 restaurants in the Region Seefeld receive a total of 13 toques from the gourmet guide. We are pleased to be the excellent culinary hotspot of the Alps at 1,200 meters.
Restaurant ZOMM.
‘Zomm.’ stands for sustainability as a collective. And it was precisely this teamwork that earned the restaurant three toques in 2025. Located in the heart of Seefeld, the restaurant focuses on the highest quality regional products from the fields, forests, lake and its own garden. Seasonal dishes are served. Fresh and pure, simple but not simplistic. After moving to Seefeld, chefs Thomas Kluckner and Waal Sterneberg have lost none of their creativity – quite the contrary.

Interalpen Chef’s Table
The restaurant Interalpen Chef's Table has received no less than 4 toques, the most in the entire region. Throughout Austria, there are only 38 restaurants that have been awarded 4 toques. Anyone sitting at the Chef's Table immediately tastes why the restaurant has been so generously awarded. Mario Döring wields the wooden spoon here and spoils guests with an eight-course menu. He particularly likes to bring ingredients from his own herb garden onto the plate: thyme, sage, woodruff and lavender are mixed with native plant species such as elderberry or wood sorrel to create new and surprising dishes. Flower pollen also likes to land on the plates. The suitably selected wines round off the great menu perfectly.

Bertas im weissen Rössl
Bertas in Reith bei Seefeld combines regional authenticity with modern cuisine. Hostess Susi and her partner Josef – who gained experience at restaurants such as Tantris, Ikarus and Ocean – serve a seasonal menu featuring dishes such as marinated salmon trout, smoked trout tortellini and veal cream goulash. To finish, there are Tyrolean poppy seed noodles with rhubarb and honey-vanilla ice cream. The wines are mainly from Austria, and the view here is just as impressive as the food.

Alpine Resort Sacher Seefeld – Tyrol
The cuisine at the Alpin Resort Sacher Seefeld – Tyrol has now been awarded a Gault Millau toque a dozen times. At the moment, the Sacher is on a journey towards healthy, top-class cuisine. The signature style of head chef Boris Meyer is clearly recognisable. Under the motto ‘healthy gourmet cuisine’, the focus is primarily on fine flavours, lightness and vitality. The ingredients are sourced from the region and prepared according to the season. Day guests are also welcome to enjoy the award-winning cuisine in the restaurant.

More top restaurants in Tyrol: The hosts of the Culinarium Alpentraum
Not only the hood restaurants, but also many other top restaurants make the Region Seefeld the culinary hotspot of the Alps at 1200 meters. These include the hosts of the Culinarium Alpentraum, who quite rightly call themselves "hosts with passion". They are an association of 7 restaurants that cook at the highest level. Among them, by the way, is also the Zomm. in Reith near Seefeld. The hosts of the Culinarium are committed to regional and sustainable cuisine and conjure up a first-class gourmet event every summer that is hard to top.
