Culinary Test
These are the best veggie restaurants in the Seefeld region
Vegetarian and vegan dishes have now become an integral part of the culinary landscape of Tyrol. In the Seefeld region, they are also indispensable. We have tested the following veggie restaurants for you.
1. Pleasures without animal compromises at the Nature Hotel Aufatmen.
At the idyllic Naturhotel Aufatmen, we experienced the fascination of vegan cuisine in its finest form. The restaurant, which offers exclusively vegan dishes, has been awarded multiple times and is proud to present the diversity of plant-based cuisine at the highest level. The 4-course menu, prepared in an open show kitchen, is not only a feast for the palate but also a visual delight. The combination of refined flavors and high-quality ingredients made our visit to Aufatmen a special experience. The restaurant is publicly accessible by reservation.

2. Brewery cellar atmosphere and veggie enjoyment are a great pair
In the venerable walls of Hotel Klosterbräu, there is a true veggie hotspot. Here, sustainability is emphasized in many areas, including culinary offerings. The Bräukeller Grill & Veggie is ideal for anyone looking for delicious vegan dishes in a truly special atmosphere. Here we tried an excellent vegan burger, among other delights such as curry and bowl creations. The unique location made the dining experience an event that appealed not only to our taste buds.

The Bräukeller specialty: Veggie & Grill smartly combined
3. Traveling sustainably at the Biohotel Leutascherhof
At the biohotel Leutascherhof, sustainability is the focus. This applies not only to the accommodations but especially to the kitchen. The publicly accessible restaurant offers top-notch, regional organic dishes with always available vegan options. The combination of high-quality organic ingredients and creative preparation methods nourishes not just the body but the soul as well. The Leutascherhof is a place where enjoyment and environmental consciousness go hand in hand – and you can truly feel it. We recommend reserving a table in advance.
4. A Culinary High Five
At L5 (L FIVE) in the heart of Seefeld, creating unforgettable emotional experiences is the focus. Vegan Schlutzkrapfen were the culinary highlight that made us happy with every bite. The refined presentation and the careful selection of ingredients make every dish special here. The chefs at L5 combine various culinary traditions and offer a diverse menu for every taste. The mix of Italian, American, Asian, and local cuisine ensures that vegetarians and vegans are always well catered for.

5. A trip to the land of the setting sun in the WOODS
The WOODS likes to call itself the international living room of Seefeld. You can already see this at first glance at the menu of food and drinks. Guests can expect not only creative bowls and vegan makis at WOODS, but also a selection of excellent non-alcoholic beverages and cocktails. The artistic presentation of the dishes and the refined combination of flavors particularly impressed us. They turn every meal into a feast for the taste buds.

With attention to detail and selected influences from Asia, WOODS is becoming one of the best (veggie) addresses in the region.
6. Ropf 'n' Roll - a culinary mountain concert
The Ropferstub’m is an institution on the plateau. Not only does its dreamy location at the foot of the Hohen Munde impress us, but its culinary variety also brings us here time and again. In addition to the fantastic vegan tagliatelle, the Ropferstub’m offers a variety of other vegan options. An absolute must-try is the vegetarian blueberry pancake, which has enchanted us with its unique flavor.
7. Alpine Hat Enjoyment
In the Seefeld region, veggie enjoyment doesn't run out even at high altitudes. Even in the mountains, one can find diverse menus that do not overlook vegan delights. With a constantly changing selection of vegan soups and main dishes made from chickpeas, the Rauthhütte is also a place where one can fully enjoy not only nature but also the delicious vegan cuisine. An absolutely recommendable stopover for all who appreciate high-quality plant-based dishes in an alpine atmosphere.

The Rauth Hut proves: (Veggie) gourmet cuisine can also be found in the mountains
For hotel guests only
In addition to the nature hotel Aufatmen and the biohotel Leutasch, which are also open to external guests, there are many other hotels in the Seefeld region that offer a great veggie selection for their house guests. This includes, among others, the Hotel Tyrol in Mösern, or the Hotel Lärchenhof, where hosts Waltraud and Günther Holzer always strive to offer vegetarian and vegan options. The gourmet breakfast with a dream view is a must-try!

Now it's all about toasting & enjoying!
