A Tyrolean winter at Olympic level
Sights in winter
Olympia has already been hosted three times in Seefeld – and it has left its mark not only in the snow: More than 245 perfectly groomed kilometers of cross-country trails, state-of-the-art sports and snowmaking facilities, as well as an almost fanatic love for cross-country skiing. Beginners can now also step into the track directly at the Seekirchl, practice their first steps, or even try their hand at biathlon in the Seefeld Sports Arena. In the four ski areas of Rosshütte, Gschwandtkopf, Geigenbühel, and Birkenlift, there are primarily blue and red slopes, while around Seefeld, diverse winter hiking trails and cozy huts await.
In the historic town center, alongside casinos, small shops, and cafés, festivals, events, and traditions come together impressively: Gala concerts during the harmonious Advent, goosebumps during the Krampus run, presents during the arrival of St. Nicholas, amazement at the Oldtimer Trophy Coppa delle Alpi, top sports at the FIS Nordic Combined Triple World Cup, and – on top of that – one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in Tyrol.
