Sights in summer

A summer in Scharnitz could hardly be more beautiful, as everywhere you can find refreshing spots: Cool off your limbs at the Kneipp facility at Kreidegraben after hiking and biking, or dive right into the water at the Canoeing course Upper Isar. Let yourself be surrounded by roaring white water in the Gleirschklamm, enjoy the summit tours on the Karwendel High Trail, or simply watch the sunset at the viewpoint Adlerkanzel. Without any mountain tour, you can visit the ruins of the Alpine Fortress Porta Claudia at the border to Bavaria, trace the history of log rafting in the Museum Holzerhütte and at the Nature Adventure Playground Länd, or delve into the countless village stories in the small Café Länd near the information center.
