Living History

Churches, Chapels & Historic Sites of the Region Seefeld – Tirols Hochplateau

Between village centres and mountain backdrops, history becomes visible: in the Parish Church of St. Oswald in Seefeld’s pedestrian zone, the Host Miracle recalls the village’s religious significance, while the small baroque Seekirchl is considered one of the iconic landmarks of the Region Seefeld – Tirols Hochplateau. The ruins of Porta Claudia tell stories of former border conflicts, and the Peace Bell of the Alps in Mösern stands as a visible symbol of peace and foresight. Around the Arena365 experience centre, the region’s Nordic sports heritage can still be experienced today.
