The small lake, the Lottensee, has belonged to the Kluckner Family since 1949. ‘Grandpa Josef’ built the pretty refreshment stop, the Lottenseehütte, in 1968 and with its location right beside the lake, it has been a popular spot ever since with walkers, foodies, (e)-bikers and cross-country skiers. With its cosy interior, it has room for around 60-80 people and is also available for private functions. You will find a hiking stamp here, charging points for e-bikes (please bring your own charger) and, on request, you can even pitch your tent by the lake during the warm summer months. The Lottenseehütte is easy to reach from Seefeld and Leutasch on family-friendly walking and cycling trails and once you are there, you can enjoy some traditional Tyrolean dishes and refreshing drinks either indoors or on the welcoming sun terrace. The Lottenseehütte is open in summer and in winter.

You can get to the picturesque Lottenseehütte from Seefeld and Mösern on family-friendly walking and cycling trails – the trails are also kept clear in winter for walkers. There is year-round parking available next to the Lottenseehütte for anyone who prefers to visit by car and during the winter months, cross-country skiers can enjoy gliding over the tracks through the beautiful snow-covered mountain landscape.

You can, on request, pitch your tent by the lake in summer. Highly-recommended!
