Sepcial regime under the Covid-19 Safeguards Regulation:
Lottenseehütte will be offering take-away of small selection of food and drinks from 11am to approximately 3pm/4pm.
Please observe the distance rules and wear an MNS mask when ordering and collecting food and drinks!

The small lake, the Lottensee, has belonged to the Kluckner Family since 1949. ‘Grandpa Josef’ built the pretty refreshment stop, the Lottenseehütte, in 1968 and with its location right beside the lake, it has been a popular spot ever since with walkers, foodies, (e)-bikers and cross-country skiers. With its cosy interior, it has room for around 60-80 people and is also available for private functions. You will find a hiking stamp here, charging points for e-bikes (please bring your own charger) and, on request, you can even pitch your tent by the lake during the warm summer months. The Lottenseehütte is easy to reach from Seefeld and Leutasch on family-friendly walking and cycling trails and once you are there, you can enjoy some traditional Tyrolean dishes and refreshing drinks either indoors or on the welcoming sun terrace. The Lottenseehütte is open in summer and in winter.

You can, on request, pitch your tent by the lake in summer. Highly-recommended!

You can get to the picturesque Lottenseehütte from Seefeld and Mösern on family-friendly walking and cycling trails – the trails are also kept clear in winter for walkers. There is year-round parking available next to the Lottenseehütte for anyone who prefers to visit by car and during the winter months, cross-country skiers can enjoy gliding over the tracks through the beautiful snow-covered mountain landscape.

  • Mösern to Lottensee. All-year round, easy circular tour from the Menthof in Mösern to the lake and back again.

  • Wildmoosalm and Lottensee. All-year round, easy walk from the lake, the Möserer See, to the restaurant, the Wildmoosalm, and on to the Lottenseehütte where you can have a relaxing break before returning back to Mösern. You can also get to the Wildsmoosalm and to the lake, the Lottensee, on an equally easy trail from Seefeld. Also all-year round.

  • Circular Hike Around the Brunschkopf. On 13 picturesque kilometers through the meadows and forests around the Brunschkopf, this impressive circuit hike visits several huts and, with a bit of luck, the two rare, aperiodic natural phenomena of Wildmoossee and Lottensee. A detour to the Möserer See lake also rewards with a welcome cooling off at one of the warmest bathing lakes in Tyrol.

  • Cross-country skiing by the lake, the Lottensee. During the snowy winter months, the C11 cross-country classic and skating trails – graded difficult – lead you past the glimmering lake and through a magical winter wonderland. Connections to other trails are also possible.
