On our dog-friendly trails, you can enjoy the peaceful nature with your four-legged friend, explore snowy forests, and experience unforgettable moments. Please observe the applicable rules for harmonious coexistence.
On the hiking trails, no salt is spread, but there may be gravel in icy or steep places. You can protect your dog's paws in winter with creams, care products, and possibly special dog shoes.
1. Winter idyll at the snow-covered Möserer Lake
This 3.5 km circular hike starts at the information office in Mösern and leads through snow-covered forests to the idyllic Möserer See. The path is easy to walk and offers a calm atmosphere, which is particularly pleasant for dogs. The varied route with gentle ascents and shady sections provides a pleasant hiking experience. Along the way, the Möserer Seestub’n invites you to take a cozy break.

2. Dog happiness on the way to Triendlsäge
This dog-friendly winter hike takes you on wide, well-maintained paths from Seefeld through snowy forests to the quaint Triendlsäge. Along the way, there is plenty of space for four-legged friends, and the varied route offers quiet sections for relaxed exploration. At the destination, the Triendlsäge invites both two- and four-legged guests to take a well-deserved break with its regional specialties.

3. Quiet winter moments at Weidachsee
This easy winter hike covers 3.8 km around the snow-covered Weidachsee. The wide, well-prepared path is virtually flat and therefore perfect for dogs of all ages. The quiet surroundings offer numerous sniffing opportunities, and the proximity to the water provides varied impressions. Along the way, the lake shore invites you to linger, and the café by the lake provides a welcome break for both humans and pets.

This 6.2 km long winter hike starts at the parking lot by the football field in Leutasch and leads through open meadow landscapes and along idyllic forest edges. The wide path with minimal inclines is ideal for dogs who enjoy being in a quiet environment. The route offers plenty of space for walking and numerous scents to explore. A perfect tour for relaxed winter days with your four-legged friend.

5. Three huts, one plateau – the gourmet round from Mösern
For those who can spare a bit more time: The 11 km long loop starts in Mösern, takes you over the picturesque Wildmoos Plateau to the Wildmoosalm and further to the Lottenseehütte. On the way back, you will encounter the atmospheric Möserer See along with the Möserer Seestub’n. Several places to stop for refreshments, varied landscapes, and spacious paths make this tour the perfect winter outing with your dog.

General Dog Rules
- Leash Requirement: In the entire region, dogs must be on a leash on hiking trails as well as in open areas - exception: Dog Running Zone Leutasch.
- Dog Waste Disposal: Please collect dog waste in a bag and dispose of it in designated containers. Free dog waste bag dispensers and trash bins are available throughout the region.
- Muzzle Requirement: In public transportation and enclosed cable cars such as the Rosshütte cable cars, dogs must wear a muzzle.
- Path Rules: Please stay on designated paths to protect the vegetation and avoid erosion. Dogs should always be kept under control and on a short leash, ensuring that they approach other people or animals calmly.
