Golfing in the heart of the Alps
Fairways with a view: Why Seefeld captivates golfers
Could I describe with words how beautiful the golf experience in the Seefeld region is? Probably. Would it be better and, above all, more credible to let our community speak? Definitely. That's why we're doing exactly that now!
In this blog, we will take a look at voices and especially images of golfers, bloggers, and visitors. There are impressions from the game amidst larch forests, alpine huts, and panoramic views. It's authentic, personal, and brings a lot of love for the game.
1. Maggy and Uli from @puttsnpenalties
Maggy and Uli from "puttsnpenalties" spent a few days in Seefeld and explored both golf courses on the plateau. In doing so, they found especially two words: "wild and beautiful."
"We played two courses: First the Golfclub Seefeld-Reith, just a few steps from the village and our hotel – the Hotel Bergland. Then we went to the Golfclub Seefeld-Wildmoos, a Leading Golf Course Austria. And honestly: We were surprised! Despite the altitude of almost 1,300 meters, the fairways and greens were in absolutely top condition (Note to self: Always treat greenkeepers like kings – they perform real wonders)."
Of course, I can only agree. I can also confirm that it is really pleasant on the plateau (even off the court) in summer: "Just when it started to get really hot in the city, we enjoyed the pleasant temperatures up here on the high plateau in the middle of Tyrol even more... and: We just can't get enough of this view."
2. Diana from @birdie_diana
Diana raves about the sun on the high plateau. The opening to the south makes the day in the square a real delight. "The mountains, the sun, and the good company have made this day unforgettable!"
"These Golf moments in Tyrol always remind me of how beautiful our world is." These words reflect the following images quite well. There isn't much more to say about it.
3. Patrick Psiuk from @patrickpsiuk
Patrick prefers to let pictures speak for themselves, and we absolutely have no problem with that:
4. Professional Athletes
Even professional athletes like Stefan Kraft, Johannes Lamparter, or Michael Hayböck enjoy combining a round of golf with wellness. They found this combination, for example, at the Hotel Klosterbräu.
5. Michael Mastarciyan, aka @theskiwriter
Michael has only come to rave about it. But on his channel, especially in the article for The Snow Magazine, he paints his golfing experience in the most colorful terms.
